Pretty sure it would prevent Trump from being VP as the VP candidate has to meet all the requirements to be president, and Trump would be ineligible.

22nd amendment can go anyway a brain looks at it . i can read it once and say no way for any 3rd term or even a VP term afterwards . but then when i read it slowly and disect each sentence , maybe it could happen .

Yeah, IDK, seems pretty plain English to me. The only exceptions were for those in office at the time of ratification.
Gave another look. Might be able to pull that off since it says “elected” not “serve”. I doubt it would pass a Supreme Court challenge, but there’s at least room for an argument. I would prefer he move on gracefully and we get a Cruz or DeSantis, but again, I despise term limits, so I’d just be for revoking the 22nd and letting The People decide.
I’m not pleased with every decision so far from 47, but he’s still way, way, WAY better than 45. He’s not really living up to his 2nd Amendment promises, but he hasn’t shit the bed on them yet either. Tariffs and subsidies are almost big time Democrat policies, but if they are being used short term as tool to bring free trade back from the rest of the world, I’m willing to wait and see how things play out.
Also, we’re going to war with China eventually, so I’m not quite as concerned about their Tariffs. I just wish they were more targeted and national security focused. Most Americans have no idea how much more expensive everything is going to be if we lose their market for cheaper stuff. People say “Fine buy American”, but they will be buying a lot less, and buying it for their cheap rental, cause they won’t have money left after basics to pay a mortgage.
I actually think it’s pretty funny because I’m sure it’s just a troll to get the Dem’s all worked up. lol
Also, I don’t like term limits. People will just replace old bad with newer even worse. Schumers for AOCs. Giving mommy government more power to tell us who we can and can’t vote for isn’t a good thing ` no matter how quant it sounds to “throw the bums out”.
Voters need to grow up, stop being so apathetic, and pay attention to who and what they vote for. Politicians are just a reflection on all of us.
I do think for a president to run a third term would require a Constitutional amendment., however. If done, might get Obama instead of Trump…. gag
